MOKSHA FINE WOVENS is the creation of Juhi Kilachand, who moved from India to New York City in 2000. A food scientist by training, she decided to leave her ‘fast track’ career and follow her passion for textiles, design and color and thus established MOKSHA Fine Wovens - traditionally woven fabrics with a contemporary look.

MOKSHA Fine Wovens started as a simple collection of Jacquard shawls at a time when the American woman was looking for something more than a plain ‘pashmina.’ What began as a range of shawls and stoles, soon became the ‘ most colorful and eclectic’ range of women’s wraps in the fashion industry. From Madison Avenue in New York City to Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, the MOKSHA shawl can and has been instantly recognized

Working with the classic Chintz and Paisley patterns - contemporising them to create a ‘ MOKSHA’ is Juhi’s touch to the collection.

Every MOKSHA piece delights you, brings a smile to your face and gives you a sense of comfort and belonging.
Jacquards, merino wool cotton, linens and luxurious silks - MOKSHA has something in natural fibers for all seasons.

It’s not JUST a scarf - it’s a piece of history that every owner of a MOKSHA carries with her.
